Affordable, Classic, Downtown Weddings.

Looking for character and charm? Our building is a staple in Omaha, first built in 1887 as the Bemis Brothers bag company. More than a century ago, the Ballroom was a loading dock for the Bemis company. The wood floors danced on are original to the space. Today, it's an Omaha Landmark and on the national register of historic places.

Turn your wedding day into a weekend event. Our Ballroom is surrounded by hotels, restaurants and dance clubs. Begin the day at our neighboring salon and spa and follow it with photos at the surrounding natural brick backdrops. Choose from a number of outdoor ceremony options or say “I Do” in our temperature controlled ballroom. During cocktail hour, guests may stay on location or explore the many shops within walking distance while your wedding party continues photos around the historic market. Once your party arrives for the grand entrance, every detail is custom to you. With no catering restrictions, the food and drink is brought in by you and served promptly by us. Whether it’s a live band, your favorite DJ, or music played via iPod, our open vendor policy allows you to entertain your guest as you desire. Our in-house photo booth will give you and your guests keepsakes to remind them of your local “destination” wedding. End the evening as grand as it began with a horse drawn carriage or line the sidewalk with a sparkler tunnel as you walk next-door for the afterparty at any of the surrounding bars and clubs. Your wedding doesn't end there. The next morning, enjoy brunch in the Old Market before settling into newlywed life.

If you want a rustic wedding venue within Omaha cities limits, a barn feel or if you're planning a themed wedding, schedule a walkthrough. The boho brides will feel inspired and the vintage collectors will feel at home. Vintage Ballroom can suit many needs depending on decor. With our open loft, brick walls and large wooden pillars, our ballroom is unlike any other.
